Dosing & wrapping machines

The automatic packing machines for butter are designed to offer maximum versatility in terms of the weight and shape of the packs.
A machine is able to produce and pack any type of shape and size: rectangular, oval, rolls and special shapes, with weights varying from 90 g to 1000 g.
The Vezzadini machines are designed so they can be easily modified to offer non-stop updating; their flexibility makes it possible to continue to add new product shapes even after the machine has been purchased and installed so that our customers can create new products and respond to market trends and demands.

Main features of the packing machines

• Side fold or bottom fold (with identical brick dimensions the side fold saves up to 30% of wrapping material in comparison with bottom fold)
• Pack closure with metal seals, hot melt adhesive, heat sealing or self-adhesive label
• Butter fed by a hopper with augers or a direct feed system. All our solutions are designed for electronic communication with the butter production plant.
• Manual or C.I.P. cleaning
• The surface of the brick of butter can be decorated with images, logos and lettering
• The weight of the packs can be adjusted automatically in combination with a checkweigher

Filling and closing of pre-formed tubs

We have developed a range of compact, versatile and reliable machines for filing and closing cups, with weights ranging from 125 g to 1000 g

Features

• All machines have a direct feed system designed for C.I.P. cleaning
• Servomotor-controlled dosing units offering flexibility and dosing precision. Dosing is synchronised with the cup’s vertical motion for optimum distribution of the butter inside the container
• A pre-cut foil can be placed and pressed down onto the surface of the butter inside the cup in order to improve the distribution of the product inside the cup, flatten the surface and minimise oxidation of the butter.
• Closing of the cups with heat-sealed pre-cut foil on the cup’s rim in combination with a reusable press-on lid
